C.R.E.A. CULTURA is the Festival of good practices of Cultural Heritage Education, taking place for three exciting days during the 22nd to 24th of March 2023.The Festival of Good Educational Practices was inaugurated in April 2022 through an expo of national and international school projects in the field of arts and heritage based on Open Educational Resources.

C.R.E.A. CULTURA 2023 will be an opportunity for teachers and students from all over Europe belonging to schools that have been able to co-design virtuous paths for the development of students’ skills in the field of safeguarding and enhancing tangible and intangible cultural heritage with special attention to the digital dimension of reality. For this edition of the Festival, schools from all over Europe that are part of the Erasmus+ accreditation networks that Crhack Lab shares with EGInA s.r.l. were involved.

The program for the 2023 edition includes three days of Workshops dedicated to teachers and held by international experts in innovative education, heritage and the technological environment. A Hackathon for high school students is planned for the last day, the goal of the challenge is to create a concept note for a startup to promote cultural heritage, the winning startup will be implemented as part of the Erasmus+ project “Exploring the past in Peace.”

Participation in the workshops is open to teachers from all schools of all levels, those working in education, organizations working with young people and museum institutions that are interested in interfacing with young people to bring them closer to cultural heritage through innovative technologies and methodologies.

A workshop on AURORA will also be held during the three C.R.E.A. CULTURA days, hosted by CHRACKLAB tutors with international partner presence. This meeting will take place in the Museo Diocesano, at the heart of Foligno.
